30 Students of the Executive Certificate Graduate

30 students of the Executive Certificate in Diplomacy, Protocol, Etiquette and Professional Branding graduate at a pompous ceremony held at Julius Nyerere House – Campus, on Friday 25 November 2016. His Excellency Ng’ona Mwelwa Chibesakunda (Zambia Ambassador to Zimbabwe) who was the Guest of Honour presented certificates of competence to 30 students of the Executive Certificate at a somber ceremony. In his keynote address to the graduating students, His Excellency Ng’ona Mwelwa Chibesakunda enunciated the significance of Diplomacy and Peace in the world. 

Sharing their success at the ceremony were hordes of friends and families. Mr V.A Chikanda, the Chairperson of the Zimbabwe Institute of Diplomacy also addressed the students articulating the need for soft skills in human development; saying, “…without knowledge of soft skills and diplomacy a human being will be nothing but a reasoning savage.” His speech was enthusiastically received by the graduands and their friends and family.

Feedback from graduates was very positive, with one student saying after the ceremony: “I am very proud to be here, it was a wonderful event which I will never forget.”

The Zimbabwe Institute of Diplomacy wishes the graduates all the best in their future endeavors.
